The Veterinarians
Dr Rob
Rob graduated at the University of Melbourne and has been in the veterinary profession for over 30 years. His early years began in small animal practice. After a short period working overseas, Rob came back to Australia and took up rural mixed animal practice working from Gippsland to Wodonga to the Grampians. Rob’s animal menagerie includes “Soda” the mischievous ginger cat, “Lovey” the dove that couldn’t find its way home, “Smokey” the early morning alarm clock Cockatiel and “Gracie” the energetic English Staffordshire Terrier.
Dr Kirsty
Dr Kirsty graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2010 she has two dogs Zorro the Pomeranian and Cora the greyhound x stag hound and a skinny cat named Friday and a curvaceous cat named bear in her spare time she spends time with her family and reading crime mystery books.
The Nurses
Angie
Angie started vet nursing at Heritage Vet Clinic in 2003. Before vet nursing, Angie spent her time breeding and showing Champion Bull Terriers. Although she no longer actively breeds Bull Terriers, she is still a member of the VCA (Victorian Canine Association). Angie’s loving pets have included the late Bull Terriers “Rocky”, and “Holly” she currently has a pair of chihuahua’s the beautiful princess “Honey” and the cheeky Chihuahua “Tico”. In her free time, you can find her spending time with her fun-loving family.
Nat
Nat has completed Certificate IV of Veterinary Nursing at NMIT and started vet nursing at Heritage Vet Clinic in 2003. Nat helps run the puppy school at Heritage Vet and has finished the Alpha Professional Dog Training Course and is a qualified dog trainer. Nat’s farm includes “Pluto” the Ridgeback X, recently adopted ‘Jetta’ a Cairn Terrier pup, and 2 fluffy felines: the long-haired ginger “Frankie” and the gigantic Maine Coon “Leo”.
Cassidy
Cassidy is currently completing her Certificate IV at Kangan Tafe. She has a cat called Tigress and two chickens called Jabba the Hen and Meryl Cheep.
Jessie
Jessie completed her certificate IV in vet nursing at Melbourne polytechnic in July, 2023. She has two dogs, a mixed breed called Waggy and Border Collie called Melaleuca (Mela), and a canary called Sunshine One. Mela is a Lort Smith therapy dog and in their spare time, Jessie and Mela visit an aged care facility in Coburg. Jessie believes that the correct answer to everything is – dogs.
Guillermo
Graduated in Argentina in 2011 with a bachelor in Veterinary Sciences and moved to Australia in 2023 he has two French bulldogs named Khal and Ellie and in his down time he enjoys playing sports and spending time with his family.
Nayan
Nayan completed her certificate IV in vet nursing at Melbourne polytechnic in 2017 and in 2018 started working at Heritage vet clinic. She has one cat named Mabel who she adopted from a client at the clinic.
